Wire marking
Wire marking is used to identify individual conductors in cabinets, distribution boards, control systems and automation installations.
The marking consists of oval sleeves that are slid onto the conductor before it is terminated. The sleeve then stays on the conductor and makes the right connection easy to identify.
Wire marking is available in several sizes to fit different conductor diameters.
Each marker can carry a wire number, potential code, terminal number or other information from the wiring diagram.
Clear wire marking is especially important in cabinets with many connections. It helps the installer terminate correctly from the start and makes later troubleshooting, service and rebuilds easier.
What wire marking is
Wire marking is an oval sleeve that slides onto the conductor before it is terminated. It stays on the conductor. It is not an engraved sign and not a terminal card.
Where it is used
It sits on individual conductors in cabinets, distribution boards and control systems. The size, PO-02 to PO-09, follows the conductor diameter.
How to order
Enter the wire number or the code from the diagram in the sign editor, or import a list. Cable marking is a different product, for the cable on the outside.

Questions
What is wire marking used for?
To recognise one conductor in the cabinet, with the number or code from the wiring diagram.
How is the marking fitted?
The sleeve slides over the conductor before it is terminated and stays there.
Which sizes are there?
Oval sleeves PO-02 to PO-09, chosen for the conductor diameter.
Can I order many different markers at once?
Yes. An Excel list makes one marker per row.
