Switch labels
Switch labels are used mainly to mark rotary switches, selectors and actuators on machines, cabinets and control panels.
The label is mounted behind or around the knob and shows the function of each position. Common examples are STOP – START, MAN – 0 – AUTO, OFF – ON, speed settings or other positions the operator needs to read quickly.
That makes switch labels especially useful on machines and control systems where the same type of rotary switch can have several functions. Instead of several small signs around the knob you get one clear marking right around the control.
The labels are made from two-layer engraving plastic. Text and symbols are engraved through the surface so the contrasting colour beneath becomes visible.
The design can be adapted to the knob and the installation. Outer size, centre hole, number of positions, texts, symbols and colour combinations can all be specified.
Switch labels are often used in cabinets, machine panels, automation equipment and other industrial controls.
