Terminal-block marking

Terminal-block marking is used to clearly identify terminals and connection points in cabinets, switchgear, distribution boards and automation systems.

The marking is adapted to the terminal type and is supplied ready with the required numbering or designation.

Clearly marked terminals make it much easier to follow wiring diagrams and find the right connection during installation, testing, troubleshooting and service.

The marking can consist of running numbers, component numbers, potential codes or other information that matches the customer documentation.

On larger cabinets, correct terminal marking is an important part of a structured, service-friendly installation.

What terminal marking is

Terminal marking is a card that sits in the terminal and shows the connection code. It is not a sleeve on the conductor and not a sign on the cabinet door.

Where it is used

It sits in the terminal row in cabinets, switchgear and distribution boards. The card is chosen for the terminal type, for example Phoenix Contact, Weidmüller, Conta Clip or Klemsan.

How to order

Choose the terminal type and enter the numbering in the sign editor, or import a list.

Questions

What is terminal marking?

A marker card in the terminal, with a running number or the code from the wiring diagram.

Is it the same as wire marking?

No. Wire marking is a sleeve on the conductor. Terminal marking sits in the terminal itself.

Which terminals fit?

The card is matched to the terminal type, including Phoenix Contact, Weidmüller, Conta Clip and Klemsan.

Can I order a whole row?

Yes. A list makes one marker per row, and the price is per card.
